Being an adult in today's society is complex.  There are so many transitions to deal with and not much time allotted to do so in a healthy, productive manner.  When we don't take the time to address our emotions or let go of past hurts, this can lead to feelings of depression, anxiety, anger, and fear.  Unchecked, these feelings often lead to destructive thoughts, maladjustment, damaging behaviors, and difficulty coping.  Often these patterns shape belief systems distort reality.
